HI, I'M CONNIE SMITH!
After spending 22 years in the TV industry, I pivoted to helping businesses and individuals harness the power of storytelling to make an impact. As the founder of High Five PR, I’ve combined my deep media expertise with a drive to champion small businesses and amplify their voices.

MY WHY

Here's my WHY: I left my corporate job to become a foster parent, but wanted to continue to use my various skills and gifts like storytelling, media production, content creation, brand building, and franchise scaling to help those who want the American Dream; building their own business and taking care of their families!

What I get to do now is so amazing and I am truly aligned with my passion and purpose. I want that for you as well.

WHY I'M TEACHING YOU MY SECRETS

Once upon a time, I was the owner of a children's boutique. It was called, 'Dandelions' because kids grow like weeds. Cute, right?! My shop did well and served it's purpose. My husband and I opened it during the recession to make up for income lost while he was laid off. I remember paying $500 per month for a business card sized ad in a parent magazine. That was and still is a lot of money for small businesses to spend on marketing. Some of you have a healthy marketing budget, and some of you you are just starting out. I want YOU to be able to succeed and reach your goals whether you hire High Five PR on as part of your team, or whether you want to learn from us through our digital courses and consulting sessions. We do not gate-keep here. I like this metaphor, "I can either fish for you, and prepare it, or I can teach you how to fish for yourself".
